Leader : Customer Services
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Team Leader to join
our team based in Abingdon. The main purpose of this role is to
supervise the activity of the Customer Service team ensuring that
our services are appropriately represented to existing and potential
customers.
Within this role your main responsibilities will include working
with the Customer Service Manager to organise the daily workload
of the department, this requires a hands on approach and would be
best suited to candidates used to working in a high volume, in-bound
call environment.
You will be required to represent the company and its services
to existing and potential customers and liaise with the commercial
department and new customers to establish required service levels
for new contracts.
Ideal applicants will have previous customer service management
experience and the ability to conduct appraisals, one to one/team
meetings, manage staff training and development, recruitment of
new team members and take disciplinary action as required with the
support of the Customer Service Manager and HR team.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously
and will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), ideally A level
(or equivalent). You will have extensive experience of providing
customer service and you will be a competent administrator. You
should have worked previously within a confidential and sensitive
environment and you will be computer literate and a confident user
of MS Word and Excel.
It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal skills and
that you can work with a high level of accuracy and attention to
detail. Highly organised, you will work well in a structured and
ordered fashion and you will have a positive approach to your role
with the ability to remain calm and composed in busy times.
